Effective 28 September 2026
Backgammon Lite is a backgammon game for Android made by Wired Gopher Gaming. This policy explains what happens to information when you use it. In short: the app collects nothing, sends nothing, and has no access to the internet.
To let you continue a match and see your statistics, the app keeps these on your phone, in its own private storage:
The app itself never sends any of this anywhere. Clearing the app's storage in Android's settings deletes all of it from the phone.
If backup is turned on for your Google account (Settings, then Google, then Backup), Android includes the app's saved games, statistics and settings in your device backup, stored in your Google account. This is done by Android, not by the app, and restores your data if you reinstall the app or move to a new phone. The developer has no access to it. On recent versions of Android the backup is encrypted with your screen lock. You can turn it off in the same settings, and manage or delete backups in your Google account.
The app does not request Android's internet permission, so it cannot connect to any server. It contains no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting service and no third-party tracking code. It does not use an account and does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, location or any other personal information. The developer receives no information about you or how you use the app.
Two features create a file that you can pass on through Android's share menu. Nothing is sent unless you pick where it goes, and it goes only to the app or person you pick.
If you send a problem report to the developer, it is used only to find and fix the problem, and deleted when that is done.
The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
If the app ever changes what it does with information, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date above will change.
